ALAN LANGOLF - Bass / Harmonica

Al Langolf started his first band in 1966 while at Port Huron High School. The band known as "The Descendents", included friends from Marysville High School and performed at high school dances. In 1967, Albo started another band called, "The Kahunas", whose members all wore Hawaiian shirts (some things never change). But, for the next 28 years, his main focus was on college, starting a family and his international tool company, The Langolf Company and a graphic arts business, Studio Graphics.

However, Al never lost his passion for music. While on business travels he even had the opportunity to jam with bands in different cities and overseas including Ireland and England. Musicians that have inspired Al over the years are Ricky Nelson, Johnny Rivers, Poco, Loggins & Messina, Steven Stills, Jimmy Buffet and the Eagles.

Al formed The Voo-Doo Doctors in 1995 and since, they have charmed and captivated audiences of all ages for the last decade. The band, (wearing Hawaiian shirts, surprise), have performed up and down the St. Clair River and covered almost all of St. Clair County. The Voo-Doo Doctors play what you want to hear with audience participation encouraged. A song list is passed out for all your favorite requests. By the end of the night, everyone will be having fun.

Al's excellent knowledge of business and an appreciation for music has resulted in the formation of "The Voo-Doo Doctors".
